The application period for studies beginning in Wintersemester 2026/27 is now open.

 

Applications for studies beginning in Wintersemester 2026/27 (with pre-semester courses scheduled to begin in September 2026) are welcome now via the online portal.

Please see the sections of this website on application dossiers and deadlines, how to apply and frequently asked questions for information about the admissions process. You may submit questions about issues that are not addressed on this website to gsefm.applications[at]its.uni-frankfurt[dot]de.

Due to the high number of applications we receive, we would like to point your attention to the following points:

  • Please submit certificates only that include an official stamp and signature or a verification code or link provided by your institution.
  • If your certificate is not English, we require a certified English translation along with the original document
  • An APS certificate (for applicants from China, Vietnam and India) is not required if you hold a higher degree from another country.
  • Registration for your program will take place in August 2026 through Goethe University Frankfurt
  • The deadline for submitting your bachelor or master certificate is the end of the first semester
  • The deadline for submitting the APS certificate : 30 September 2026

Due to the increased number of applications, reference letters as well as test scores have to be submitted by the end of the respective application deadline.

Please note the following:  

1. When applying for admission to a Ph.D. program at GSEFM, you will have to simultaneously also apply for the respective track of the MSQ program. Those who wish to apply for Ph.D. program studies (in addition to MSQ program studies) will need to indicate so through an option in the „Application for financial aid“ section within the online application portal. For further details, please consult the "Guide Online Application Portal" linked above. 

2. Upon completion of the online application, no confirmation e-mail will be sent out. You do not need to send in the application request with your submitted documents. Your application will be processed after the respective application round deadlines.

3. GRE or GMAT scores are welcome, but not compulsory. If you wish to submit your score, please make sure it gets submitted by the respective third party.
